One sure sign that spring is just around the corner is the arrival of the butterfly exhibit at Grand Rapid’s Meijer Gardens.
The popular exhibit that will feature many thousands of butterflies from around the world runs from March 1st through April 30th.
The annual “Butterflies Are Blooming” exhibition is one of the most popular annual events held at West Michigan’s beloved Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
This year’s event features roughly 50 species of butterflies from such exotic places as Africa, South and Central America, and Asia. The conservatory is held at a balmy 85 degrees and is designed to mimic the exact conditions that would be found in the butterflies’ native lands.
